Hello! I have learned this brand recently of last year through different post in Instagram. And now, I have finally have it in my hands. It was rather expensive, tho to ship it from UK to US, then US to the Philippines, but it is all worth it!
I got their classic Vintage Tan, and I am pleasantly shocked on how soft and premium it feels to the touch. But there are also somethings I would like point out that makes me curious:
- The Porto bag in Vintage Tan I received have different shade of browns in them. Some pockets or body of the bag aren't the same shade of brown (some of them is too dark, some are light, some textures are different than the other parts) it makes me curious that the bag might have been made using different whole hides. I don't know if it's intentional to added more character to the bag or something to reduce the cost of the materials being used during Production. Although this doesn't actually affect the quality of the bag (it is still a gorgeous bag!), but I think it is still something worth to note (atleast for me)
- True to their description, there are some marks on the leather I recieved on my Porto bag. But I consider this as part of the natural character of the leather. Like a beauty mark.
- The lining of the bag is above of my expectation. It is soft and velvety to the touch and thick.
- Altho the crossbody strap is generously free, I wish their were options that you can have a leather crossbody strap instead. I think it will seal in the overall look of the Porto bag entirely!
I am still giving it a 5-Star Review from the Philippines! It is such a good investment and something that I will always bring me joy for my stationary.
